Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright yellow and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is a great chef.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a bow on his belt. His blonde hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has gray eyes.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a bow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is greedy

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
