He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Barrister. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Cairn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
