Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He sports grey clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his small grey hat.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Gifted from a young age, Naeris studied abroad. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: The child of a Fortune-teller, who enjoyed hunting, John was taken on many hunting expeditions. His childhood dream was to be a Fortune-teller, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears long strands of aquamarine and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His red hair is cut short. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: He is in excellent shape and usually wears his black robe and has his morningstar always slung over his shoulder. His golden hair is greasy and uncared for. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and many illithids want him driven away
