Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He prefers to wear grey clothing when he does not wear armor. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His ears are large.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Spring hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He wears a worn and beaten armor. He carries a battered mace and tarnished sword as well. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'7". He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He takes great joy in being the best Guard in town.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Merchant, but he got bored and became a Guard. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His black hair is heavily combed to the left. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
