History: Patrin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Through the years after Therai was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Therai's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
