History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
