Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Halander took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He hates Half-Orcs with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he wants revenge against gnolls
