Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a Mortician, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: He usually wears his grey robe and has his mace always slung over his shoulder. He carries with him a set of maces, each one with a ruby on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His blonde hair is singed and shortened. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker grey hat.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Laborer born in the past three hundred years. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the north to a Laborer, Burto learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his youth he was a Shoemaker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to clean up the streets

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized pastel coat. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has hazel eyes and a pastel hat with a black feather.

Personality: Hugh wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is greedy.
