History: Born in the east to a Crown-heir, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Nykkan was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.
