History: Gimgen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born into a rich family. He found a children's book about a Human Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
