The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hoshû was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Hoshû has worked very hard to control his curse. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
