History: Hupe was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He tends to his Fisher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
