Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Map Maker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This man stands a little under 5'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He prefers to wear flannel. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Seamstress work with an outfit from a few towns over. Seamstress work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Seamstress job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'9" when asserting himself. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are silver.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Scribe and found it very stressful. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and many brigands want him driven away

Description: He wears a simple black robe with grey stripes complete with hood. He carries with him a set of shields, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
