History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fragrant fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
