History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Varis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Thoradin abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Personality: He is a Laborer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
