Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Great was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Great abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he has a crush on the local crown-heir

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the east to a Mason, Clerebold learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: This malnourished man dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a grey coat with tan slacks. Sporting a brown mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tod grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tod. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
