History: Qualen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Qualen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Kildrak reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Ulblyn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
