History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was born in the north. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
