Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he dresses like a well dressed Ruler does. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Lucan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Ruler soon after.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has shaved his head bald. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Fargas hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Fargas was born the youngest of three triplets. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Spice Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: He has the majority of his body covered in plate, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'0" when asserting himself. His white fur is still thick. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep copper.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: With green face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has styled his black hair well, parting it to the left. His silver eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Amnon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Amnon was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
