Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Hoshgrish alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
