Mantus's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Pelt was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Pelt and his spouse have recently divorced.
