History: Born in the north to a Performer, Qualen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. After a long history of fighting, Qualen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Elegant was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Howard was born the youngest of three triplets. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Howard has worked very hard to control his curse. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Morthos was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mason for the past few years.
