Description: An older man who wears long strands of emerald and short tan dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are silver and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: 5'2" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has shaved his head bald. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Jeweler born in the past three hundred years. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and balancing his hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult

Description: This tall, slender man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His white hair is heavily combed to the right. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered green stockings. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oppleby grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oppleby. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
