Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Heian was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Painter. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shipwright. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Barendd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
