History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Fivin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Fivin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a Spy soon after.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his religion dominates his actions
