Personality: Rimple wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nirgel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has never given up on his writing dream.
