History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Thervan reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. After a long history of fighting, Theren and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
