Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Theren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Emerald has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
