History: He was born in a small mountains village. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Paelias was taken on many hunting expeditions. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Shepherd soon after.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shepherd and was forced into it by his family; and expand his business

History: Cloak hails from a village terrorized by orcs. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
