History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has achieved small success as a Detective.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Varis was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Architect. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and balancing his hectic life and new architect responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.
