Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Burto's homeland. Burto decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
