History: Rolen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Norkruuth was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Norkruuth's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bulzo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Ghaliver lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Laborer mother left him crippled. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
