History: The child of a Server, who enjoyed hunting, Paymon was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paymon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paymon. Being a Adventurer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Gargax hails from a village terrorized by giants. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
