History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Paelias began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Kothûg lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second daughter.
