He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Architect hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Oblar and his spouse have recently divorced.
