History: Howard hails from a village terrorized by giants. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Chay does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He tends to his Barkeep job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is a Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was a Cook, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and sabotage a competitor

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length golden hair. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Thervan is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.
