History: He was born into a rich family. When Gilbert reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the north to a Beggar, Gerbo learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
