History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Elaim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Elaim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
