Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Engraver for the past few years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Bellfounder mother left him crippled. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lucan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
