Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Knight arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When Qualen reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
