Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is dark but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Kelter isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kelter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kelter grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kelter. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears black leather gloves, a black jacket, and tight pants. His brown hair is greasy and uncared for. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is afraid of men and trembles around them

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Rurik was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Map Maker. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His childhood dream was to be a Masseuse, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Sailor.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and expand his business

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest man in the west
