History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When Jak reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a Mercenary first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ulblyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mercenary for hire.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to end his boredom
