History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
