Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His hair is blonde and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a green costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Peter was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fortune-teller. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Nil liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on his right hand. He wears his golden hair down. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Anselm is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Anselm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has money and likes to spend it
