Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Vanuath is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
