History: The child of a Marshal, who enjoyed hunting, Mantus was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Marshal, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the north to a Dyer, Baern learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a dyer and was forced into it by his family
