History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Mortician father left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Umpen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He is mildly Tiefling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ahrim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
