History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears just a tan suit. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. A true patriot, Varis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of a Marshal, who enjoyed hunting, Varis was taken on many hunting expeditions. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When Srorthen reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
