Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Charles was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ratbag fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
