Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Thorin was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Thorin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of orcs

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering his clean studded leather. His silver crest, when down, is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: 6'9" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a black costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His auburn hair is braided into rings. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Ghûra was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
